For almost 20 years, the Monkey Bus has provided reliable, safe, and most importantly, fun transportation to both locals and visitors of Anna Maria Island, Florida. For only $5 a person, they'll take you anywhere you want to go on Anna Maria Island, the Village of Cortez or Palma Sola Causeway...The kiddies are always free 10 and under. If you enjoy your ride, please tip your driver generously. Most of them are volunteers committed to helping keep our roads safe while everyone enjoys their time on the island whether you’re on vacation or a local.

Anna Maria Island (AMI) is a seven mile long barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico about an hour south of Tampa. AMI is famous for its small-town feel, friendly locals and world-famous beaches sinking into crystal clear water.

Right in the heart of where our friends and family gather, the Monkey Bus was an easy choice to highlight—it’s a local favorite everyone loves.
